Aerospace Professionals In Schools Program Targets 50,000 Students For 2009-2010 School Year
We have initiated a “new year” as it relates to our Aerospace
Professionals in Schools Program. Our official count begins in August of
each year. Our goal for this tally period has been set at 50,000
students. I am encouraging each and every one of our members to schedule
a school visit and talk to students about pursuing careers in the
aerospace industry. Please don’t wait for someone to coordinate and
schedule a school visit for you. You know where the schools are in your
area. Pick up the phone and make yourself available. The school
officials will be glad you did. Every member should commit to making at
least ONE school visit. After you have completed your visit, it is very important that you
complete an After Action Report (see below). This information will be
used to keep track of our efforts. If you have any questions, contact me
