Thank You from Atlanta ACE Camp Student

I just wanted to share this letter from one of my 2006 ACE Camp kids who is now in college at Middle Georgia College. She is one of many examples and I am extremely proud of her. Thank you for what you do to make our ACE Camps successful.

The OBAP Camp was an eye opening experience for me. The camp lead me to believe that I could have a career in aviation. They showed the campers many different people and careers in the aviation industry. The OBAP counselors proved to me that it was not impossible to make my dreams come true. After going through the OBAP camps I graduated high school and enrolled in Middle Georgia College. It is a new flight school where you can earn an associates or a bachelor’s degree in different areas of aviation, they also offer other areas of study besides aviation. I am majoring in Aviation Management with a concentration in flight and airport management. I have my private pilot’s license and I am currently working on my instrument rating. If it weren’t for the OBAP camps I would not be perusing a career in aviation. I am very grateful that I had a chance to experience the camps.
