OBAP General Scholarship
Background
The Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals, Inc. (OBAP) will award $7000 to a deserving individual to further their career in the aviation industry. The training must be OBAP approved and funds will be sent directly to the training facility.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Applicant must be a dues current member of OBAP.
Applicant must provide a letter verifying that he/she participated in at least one OBAP event.
Applicant must possess and be able to provide a copy of a current Private Pilot's license.
Applicant must complete an essay on "What is/or has been your greatest life challenge, and how has it enriched your and/or someone else's life?"
Applicant must submit a current resume.
Applicant must submit two (2) "Letters of Recommendation" with one from a dues current OBAP member.
Applicant must provide a copy of his/her medical permit.
Applicant must write and submit a two (2)-page autobiography, which will include a recently taken photograph.
