In an effort to continuously refine our processes we are implementing more transparency by instituting a rating system. In this system, candidates will be scored from zero to five with five being the highest one could receive and zero being the lowest.
There will be five categories that each candidate will be rated. They are as follows, OBAP Participation, Presentation, Adaptability, Leadership and Application quality. Participation on OBAP committees will be weighed more than all other categories. All categories will be determined via a face to face interview with one exception. The fifth and final category will be determined immediately after the application package is submitted.
Our recommendations will be made to the appropriate companies, funding entities, etc, based on the results of the applicant’s cumulative score. All of this information will be maintained on an excel spread sheet for ease of tracking and transparency.
